Well, Gracie went to her first steeplechase today, the Queens Cup here in Charlotte. We had a great time with Grandaddy, Mamita, and Anna and her friend. Gracie was so good and it made me feel really good about being able to go somewhere without any resources and be out in the open with family. We took her Bumbo and people went crazy when they saw her in it...it really is an amazing invention. Also, we are convinced that Gracie is trying to cut some teeth. We have been suspicious for a while, but now she is really baring down hard on those gums and becoming quite fussy about it in the afternoons. I just hope it isn't too hard on her...I feel so sorry for her and oh my goodness, how could I forget...Gracie rolled over this week. She went from her tummy to her back. Mommy was so proud of her and went crazy. Gracie already knows her mommy is a little off her rocker with excitement when she does new things, but this was extra special! Daddy still hasn't seen her do it and I am trying to catch it on video to send to everyone. I changed some settings on this blog so that anyone can post comments now. You don't have to create an account or anything crazy like that. By the way, Mary Hampton, where is your blog that you said you would start?

What a great time! I love taking Grace to outdoor events and Grace loves it too! There will be many more of those moments like that to come.
I love it when they start to roll over! Now that she is getting that she will be up in all fours before you know it! Enjoy it! :o)
